This week Carlos Rodriguez was visiting our ministry, Oikos, here in Peru and I was able to twist his arm and sit down with me for a podcast interview/discussion. This is a real bonus for me as I got to do it in person instead of over the internet.
Carlos is happily married to Catherine Rachel and the happy-proud father of Carlos Alejandro and Carlos Sebastián. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He was loved and trained in Toronto. Now he serves the city of Raleigh, North Carolina, on staff at Catch The Fire Raleigh.
In our podcast we discussed the Brownsville Revival and the Toronto Blessing, and the similarities and differences in both of those movements and in our personal lives, as we apparently are both the same age and attended one school of ministry while the other attended the other.
We also discussed “happy sonship” and his blog, as well as his trip(s) to Peru.
From his “about me” page at HappySonship.com:
“I love thinking outside of the religious box. And it’s usually in the vast mystery of grace where I encounter God (and discover my true self). I have been teaching about the Father, in more than 30 nations, for twelve years now. I had these incredible moments with Him that changed my life forever. And I seriously believe that God’s love is the only thing required to live a Happy Sonship.”
Enjoy the discussion!
"I don’t think the world is put off by the Church’s sin as much as by our fakeness." @CarlosHappyNPO Share on XBooks Mentioned in this episode:
