Publisher's summary

Have you ever believed God had made you sick to teach you a lesson? Do you believe God wants some to be sick but others to be well for a divine purpose known only to himself? Have you struggled with a healing in your body or spirit but it seemed as though God just doesn't want to answer your prayers for healing? Do you believe you've got a thorn in the flesh that God is using to refine your character?

These are lies. This quick read will help destroy the traditions of man and lies of religion that nullify the power of God in your life. What we believe about God and how he works can have a dramatic impact on how we approach him and what we expect of him. Many Christians believe lies about God that keep them bound and prevent healing in their bodies and in their lives.

In his conversational style, Steve helps you learn what some of the top lies are that hold Christians and unbelievers back when it comes to divine healing. You, too, can receive healing and heal the sick. Quit believing lies today. God is not just "able" to heal, he is willing!

Debunking the Myths

This was a great resource to clarify how God heals. It helped to throw away some of the myths and false truths about how divine healing is done today.

Eye Opening - A MUST for every Christian

This book was phenomenal. It was incredibly eye opening. I consider myself a spiritual person and no stranger to the scripture. Yet the author opened my eyes to so many things that I have completely overlooked while believing majority of the devil-planted lies that we so popularly quote for why we only see part of Jesus’ works on earth today.

So many of the scriptures reference salvation and healing as hand-in-hand, as demonstrated in this book. Yet the new modern practice is to put on the salvation shoe and limp away leaving the healing one behind in the way we walk with Christ. Why than did Jesus suffer so greatly, why did he instruct us to go about the earth and heal the sick and deliver demons only for us to ignore almost all of it and say it’s not for us, or not for today. All blatant lies.

Also, what I love about this book and what is so important is that it gets straight to the point. It’s quick, easy to listen to, and it gets past all the nonsense of what we “think” or “believe” and gets straight to the TRUTH of SCRIPTURE. The world lives in lies, people justify sins with lies, and stumble in the darkness believing lies. What we need is GOD and His WORD.

Whether you are a common Christian, or a pastor looking to take better care of his/her flock; no matter what the denomination, the TRUTHS in this book are for you.

I think this book would also make a great group Bible study. Either way it is a must for every brother and sister in the body of Christ.

Good Details

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. I listened to this book with an open mind concerning faith healing. I have always believed that God desires us to be whole and healthy but I also believe that he gave each and every doctor, nurse and other hospital personnel their skills. Many of the scriptures he used and context examples had merit and only reinforced many of my own beliefs. Each of us must listen to God and ask for His understanding and wisdom to know what He is saying in His holy Word. This book is worth using as a discussion starter.

I can believe it.

I'm seeking healing for a chronic arthritic issue and I don't want to do anything drastic that relies on allopathic medicine which may render me in worse shape than what I am now. this book gives me some hope.
