I read a lot of books. I also write them.
I listen to a lot of audiobooks. I also narrate them.
When I interview someone on the Fire On Your Head podcast, there’s a good chance it’s because I’m a fan of something they wrote — and I think you’ll get your world rocked by hearing them or reading their book.
That’s basically the operating principle of everything I do: I’ve found something I think you should know about.
Not everyone listens to the podcast, so this newsletter exists for the same reason — especially if you’re drawn to the same things I am: books that change how you think, the craft of writing, Spirit-filled faith that actually costs you something, and the kind of Kingdom movement that doesn’t stay safely indoors.

These aren’t blog posts you could find anywhere on the internet. Subscribers get book recommendations, personal notes from my life and ministry here in Lima, Peru, writing tips I’ve picked up the hard way, and occasional free goodies — review copies, audiobook codes, giveaways — that never get posted on social media.
I don’t get paid to recommend books. I just tell you about things worth your time.
