Hi, my name is Steve and I’m the owner of this website.
Some time ago it came to my attention that someone had maliciously installed a script on my site to trick people to visit a page, hosted on my site, designed to look like the login page for a bank. Wells Fargo in particular. I immediately removed all the code, and reported this incident to Wells Fargo directly, and created a redirect link so if people did somehow receive the fake sign-in page, they would redirect here to this message.
If you are reading this, then relax and know that you’re safe SO LONG as you didn’t give out any of your banking info online to any unsecured connection. Always check the source of something requring any sign-in information, whether your social media accounts or banking info.
My deepest apologies that you landed here under these circumstances. I had nothing to do with it and have really good security now with my current web host.
However, it seems scammers are still using the old link for some reason. Maybe they don’t know their code has been cleaned up from my site? But if I were you, I would contact your local bank and tell them of the email(s) you may have received so they can look into it, and as a precautionary measure regularly change your passwords for anything if you have doubts about whether you used it to try logging in something legit.
Thank you for understanding!
Steve Bremner
